Taking away the 001 FR, it is the most powerful in the entire range and even surpasses the shooting brake 001. We’re talking about the Zeekr 007, the first sedan from the Chinese brand.
Like all others designed in Sweden, it has a pretty good silhouette, aiming for both Tesla and Nio and featuring cutting-edge technological solutions. The avant-garde design of the Zeekr 007
The 007 features innovative stylistic solutions, the result of Stefan Sielaff’s experience, former designer of Audi and Mercedes. The front headlights are hidden by a photoelectric barrier that makes them invisible when turned off, while the side lights have an interactive function to communicate with the external environment.
The glass roof, made of nano silver, merges with the rear window, ensuring thermal insulation and privacy. The rear hatch has a shell shape and a scaled texture to optimize cargo space. The rear lights are thin and horizontal, with the Zeekr logo in LED.
The dimensions of the Zeekr 007 are 4.8 m in length and 1.4 m in height, with a wheelbase of 2.9 m. Depending on the transmission configuration, the curb weight of the Zeekr 007 varies from 2150 to 2290 kg, with a maximum speed limited to 210 km/h.
Up to 645 HP
The base Zeekr 007 is equipped with rear-wheel drive with a single electric motor of 421 HP. The manufacturer of this motor is Quzhou Jidian Electric Vehicle Technology (QJEVT), a subsidiary of Geely. An LFP power unit from the same supplier powers this electric motor, but its capacity and range are yet to be revealed.
The all-wheel-drive version of the Zeekr 007 has two electric motors supplied by QJEVT. The front motor produces a power of 224 HP, while the rear motor reaches 421 HP. Overall, the powertrain of this electric sedan generates an exceptional power of 645 HP. There are two battery options available: LFP from QJEVT and ternary (NMC) from the Geely-CATL joint venture.
The mass production of the Zeekr 007 will begin at the Zeekr Smart Factory in Ningbo, Zhejiang. Currently, this factory assembles models such as the Zeekr 001, Zeekr 009, and Jiyue 01, with a planned production capacity of 300,000 units per year
