The entirely female jury of the automotive industry has enthusiastically announced the five finalists for the prestigious Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year 2024 (WWCOTY). This award, established in 2011, is the result of a meticulous evaluation by a team of 75 automotive journalists from 52 countries across five continents.

WWCOTY: A Globally Prestigious Award

The Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year is a unique recognition, as it honors cars that embody excellence in their respective segments and have been launched on at least two continents in the previous year, in this case, 2023. The competition, now in its twelfth edition, has selected six finalist models, one for each of the following categories: Family Car, Large Car, SUV, Pick-Up 4X4, and Exclusive Car.

The Five Finalists

1. Volvo EX30

The Volvo EX30 is the brand’s first compact premium SUV, the third 100% electric model, and the most affordable in the lineup. With a range of 450 km, it stands out for its quality, advanced safety systems, and the lowest carbon footprint in any Volvo to date.

4. Volkswagen Amarok
