Tesla has opened a new Supercharger station in Ringsted, on Zealand, with 16 chargers. The opening on 15 October also marks the start of the brand’s Supercharger Tour during the Danish autumn school holiday, with special low charging prices at four locations along Denmark’s main east–west route.
On each tour date, Tesla owners can charge for DKK 1.49 per kWh at the selected station, while drivers of other electric cars pay DKK 1.99 per kWh.
Four stops between Zealand and Jutland
The autumn holiday is one of the busiest travel periods of the year in Denmark, and many Danes spend it exploring their own country. The four tour stops follow the main motorway from Zealand to Jutland: Ringsted, then Korsør and Nyborg on either side of the Great Belt Bridge, and finally Vejle Syd in Jutland.
| Date | Location | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Thursday 15 October | Ringsted | New station, 16 Superchargers |
| Friday 16 October | Korsør | Zealand side of the Great Belt Bridge |
| Saturday 17 October | Nyborg | Funen side of the Great Belt Bridge |
| Sunday 18 October | Vejle Syd | Eastern Jutland |

On each tour date, Tesla staff will be at the station between 12:00 and 16:00. Visitors can try Tesla Assisted Driving and ask questions about their car, Supercharging and more.
Why Ringsted
Tesla regularly asks drivers to suggest new locations for Superchargers, and Ringsted has been high on the wish list. Thousands of drivers pass through the town every day, and the area around the station offers Ringsted Designer Outlet, supermarkets and several places to eat, making it a natural place to stop and charge.
The station uses Tesla’s fourth-generation Superchargers, with charging power of up to 250 kW. Drivers of other electric car brands can charge there too.
The new station is located at Klostervangen 10, 4100 Ringsted.
