Kia is introducing the all-new EV9 GT, a high-performance evolution of the brand’s award-winning flagship SUV. Production for the Danish market has begun, with the first cars expected to arrive in November at a starting price of DKK 799,999.
Extreme power for an extreme SUV
With 509 hp and 740 Nm of torque, the EV9 GT is the most powerful Kia SUV to date. It sprints from 0–100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds while maintaining impressive efficiency, offering up to 510 km of range on a single charge.

An advanced AWD powertrain and Electronically Controlled Suspension (ECS) deliver stability and comfort.

Debuting for Kia, the Road Preview System scans the road surface ahead and adapts the suspension in real time to optimize ride quality and control.
Signature GT Design Cues
The EV9 GT stands apart with exclusive styling and performance-focused details, like artificial leather seats with alcantara inserts and neon-green GT accents, 21-inch GT wheels, the typical Neon-green GT brake calipers already seen on the Kia EV6 GT (read our review here), and dedicated GT light grille with “Energetic” light patterns.

Like the renewed version og the EV6 GT, the EV9 GT featyres virtual Gear Shifts (VGS) with paddleshifts and Active Sound Design inherited from Ioniq 5 N and Ioniq 6 N.

Inside, a dark grey and black vegan-leather theme is paired with alcantara and neon-green highlights. A steering-wheel GT button unlocks GT Mode, revealing the SUV’s full performance potential at a press.

The EV9 GT is equipped with a 99.8 kWh battery and supports up to 210 kW DC fast charging, enabling 10–80% top-ups in around 24 minutes under optimal conditions.
