Kia is expanding its fully electric GT range in Europe with three new models: the Kia EV3 GT, Kia EV4 GT and Kia EV5 GT. First shown at the 2026 Brussels Motor Show, all three are now available across the European market, bringing Kia’s GT philosophy to a wider range of customers and vehicle segments.

Performance electrification across three segments

EV3 GT, EV4 GT and EV5 GT mark the next step in Kia’s electrified performance strategy, applying the brand’s GT character to a compact SUV, a low slung hatchback and a versatile C-SUV, while keeping the comfort, refinement and practicality expected from Kia’s electric vehicle lineup.

All three new GT models combine dual motor all wheel drive with Virtual Gear Shift, Active Sound Design, dedicated GT interfaces and distinctive design details. The result is an electric driving experience built around more than raw performance figures, with the connection between car and driver shaped by how the vehicle feels, responds, sounds and presents itself visually.

Building on Kia’s GT heritage

Kia’s GT models represent the most emotionally driven expression of the brand’s engineering. From the original Ceed GT and ProCeed GT, through the Stinger GT, Kia’s closest interpretation of a true grand tourer, to the more recent EV6 GT and EV9 GT, the GT badge has consistently stood for responsive performance, confident handling and a stronger connection between driver and car.

With EV3 GT, EV4 GT and EV5 GT, Kia now extends that philosophy into the core of its electric vehicle range. The new models join EV6 GT and EV9 GT to form a broader GT family, in which each vehicle carries a clear and distinct personality within Kia’s growing electric performance lineup.

Grand touring for the electric era

Kia’s GT models are built around dual motor all wheel drive, a dedicated GT mode, high precision steering, electronically controlled suspension and improved cornering stability, aimed at strengthening the connection between driver, car and road. These technologies support a more immediate and confident driving character, whether accelerating, cornering or on longer journeys.

The electric GT experience is also shaped by how each car communicates with its driver. Virtual Gear Shift adds a more physical sense of acceleration and deceleration, while Active Sound Design delivers dynamic audio feedback linked to the car’s speed, acceleration and torque. Launch Control, a Performance Timer, a dedicated GT theme for the instrument cluster and central display, and drive mode specific screens further add to driver engagement.

EV3 GT: urban energy

The Kia EV3 GT brings Kia’s GT philosophy to the compact SUV segment, creating a more responsive and emotionally engaging version of Kia’s all rounder electric model. Its dual motor all wheel drive system produces 215 kW (292 hp) and 468 Nm of torque, taking the EV3 GT from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds.

Built around compact responsiveness, agility and everyday safety, the EV3 GT combines quick response, immediate electric power delivery, composed handling and a confident sense of control on the road, aimed at delivering a more dynamic and connected experience across urban, suburban and daily driving.

The accelerator has been tuned to deliver a more intense feel across three distinct zones: controlled response at low speed for smooth driving, greater modulation through the mid range for a more engaging feel, and a stronger sense of torque at the top of the pedal’s travel. The aim is to give the driver a high level of control across the entire pedal range in every driving situation.

Inside, exclusive GT semi-bucket sport seats, a three spoke steering wheel, a Black and Neon interior scheme, a Performance Timer and a premium Harman Kardon audio system combine to create a more focused and emotionally engaging driving environment, positioning the EV4 GT as the most driver oriented expression of Kia’s new electric GT character.

EV5 GT: confident, spacious grand touring

The Kia EV5 GT extends Kia’s GT range into the upper end of the C-SUV segment, pairing an upgraded dual motor system with the space, comfort and versatility expected of a larger SUV. Its all wheel drive system produces 225 kW (306 hp) and 480 Nm of torque, with 0 to 100 km/h taking 6.2 seconds. The EV5 GT uses an 81.4 kWh battery and offers a WLTP range of up to 476 km.

As a family oriented electric SUV, the EV5 GT represents the most versatile expression of Kia’s GT philosophy, combining a comfortable ride, confident traction, refinement and strong adaptability across different types of road. Its GT character is balanced for daily use, long journeys and varying road conditions. The EV5 GT also features Kia’s Pet Mode, which keeps the cabin at a safe and comfortable temperature when a pet is briefly left inside, locking the doors, disabling interior switches and alarms, and displaying an owner’s message on screen.

GT specific character and handling

Across all three new models, Kia has focused on ride comfort, handling and driving quality that make the experience enjoyable on any road, without compromising comfort. Each car features sport seats for driver and passenger with high support padding, strong lateral bolstering and adjustable headrests, balancing the support needed for spirited driving with everyday comfort.

Suspension tuning was developed through real world testing across a wide range of roads in Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom, in both hot and cold conditions. Stiffer spring rates provide a more stable stance, while revised anti roll bars improve control and comfort, supported by brakes calibrated to match the GT character.

Electronically controlled suspension with a predictive function uses a camera to read the road ahead, optimising damping for comfort and stability by adjusting damping force within milliseconds. Steering response and gear ratio have also been revised for sharper, more precise input, while an optimised Integrated Electric Booster coordinates regenerative braking to improve energy recovery, braking efficiency and stability, while reducing the weight and size of the braking system.

Three drive modes offer clear differences in ride comfort and handling: Normal is the most comfortable setting, with reduced damping force and strong roll control; Sport offers a firmer setup with sharper response and greater roll control; and GT Mode applies near maximum damping, strong cornering performance and a high level of responsiveness. Drivers can also select from three Electronic Stability Control configurations to further tailor handling across every drive mode, with the system continuously monitoring vehicle parameters to maintain a consistent safety margin. Dynamic torque distribution helps maintain a controlled slip angle within safe limits, further improving the driving experience, particularly on winding roads.

Technology the driver can feel

Across EV3 GT, EV4 GT and EV5 GT, Kia combines hardware, software and sensory feedback to make the electric driving experience more engaging. GT Mode optimises key vehicle parameters including motor response, steering and suspension, while Launch Control supports stronger, more consistent acceleration from a standstill. Electric Dynamic Torque Vectoring Control uses integrated brake and motor management to improve cornering stability and handling. Virtual Gear Shift adds a more engaging sense of progression by simulating gear changes and their associated feel, while Active Sound Design introduces dynamic audio feedback linked to speed, acceleration and torque.

Together, these features aim to make electric performance feel more intuitive, more expressive and more closely connected to driver input. The shared GT sound signature uses the eight speaker audio system to simulate the background sound of a high performance engine inside the cabin. Even without Virtual Gear Shift active, an emotional driving soundtrack remains available through an exclusive coasting function, which produces a distinctive futuristic sound sequence when lifting off the accelerator above 100 km/h.

The GT experience also extends to visual and digital details, with dedicated instrument cluster graphics, drive mode specific displays, the Performance Timer and GT specific interface content reinforcing the link between driver, car and selected driving setting. Outside and inside, exclusive GT badging, neon green brake calipers, sport seats, dark interior trim and neon accents distinguish the GT models with a clear and consistent visual identity.

Everyday technology alongside performance

Beyond performance, EV3 GT, EV4 GT and EV5 GT offer a range of connected technologies aimed at making daily use more convenient. Kia’s in-car payment function lets customers pay for services such as parking directly through the touchscreen, while on-demand services include access to Netflix, YouTube and Disney+. Over-the-air updates also allow the infotainment system, features and vehicle technology to be updated remotely.
