The iconic Audi Quattro, a symbol of rally dominance in the 1980s, has been reborn through a meticulous restomod by German tuning firm ABT Sportsline. This modern reinterpretation combines the classic allure of the original with contemporary performance and technology.
Drawing inspiration from the rare short-wheelbase Audi Sport quattro homologated for Group B rallying, ABT’s restomod retains the original quattro’s body while introducing a more muscular aesthetic. Features include widened wheel arches, a vented hood, redesigned bumpers, a prominent rear wing, and a body crafted from Kevlar and carbon fiber.

Inside, the cabin has been updated with modern amenities while preserving a motorsport-inspired atmosphere. Expect bucket seats, a roll cage, and extensive personalization options through the ABT Individual program, ensuring each of the 30 units produced is unique.
An Audi Quattro with RS3 engine
Under the hood lies the 2.5-liter turbocharged five-cylinder engine from the Audi RS 3, tuned by ABT to deliver 530 horsepower—nearly triple the output of the original 1980 model and surpassing the 306 hp of the original Sport quattro. This power is managed by a modern braking system and a custom chassis tailored for each vehicle.

Initially limited to 25 units, the entire batch sold out within three hours, prompting ABT to increase production to 30 units. While the official price remains undisclosed, the combination of limited production, extensive customization, and high performance suggests a six-figure price tag.
