The production version is expected to debut in mid-2026, with assembly scheduled at Volkswagen’s Navarra plant in Spain. While “Epiq” may not be the final name, the model forms part of the Volkswagen Group’s new generation of accessible EVs, joining the upcoming Volkswagen ID. Cross, ID. Polo, and Cupra Raval.
Modern Solid in practice
The Skoda Epiq embraces the brand’s new Modern Solid design philosophy, favoring clean lines and robust proportions. At the front, the Tech-Deck Face introduces T-shaped LED daytime running lights linked by an illuminated strip, while the main headlights are positioned lower, integrated into the bumper. The front spoiler, finished in Cosmo Grey, features eight vertical elements, giving the car a distinctive stance.

From the side, the Epiq shows off a high beltline, a strong rear pillar adorned with the updated Skoda script, and pronounced wheel arches with chunky plastic cladding. At the rear, the T-shaped light signature is echoed in the LED taillamps, framed by a sculpted bumper.
Despite its compact dimensions — 4.1 meters in length and a 2.6-meter wheelbase — Skoda promises generous interior space for five passengers, plus a class-leading 475 liters of luggage capacity.

No official images of the cabin have been released yet, but Skoda describes it as “minimalist and functional”, staying true to its reputation for everyday usability. Expect an abundance of clever storage solutions, such as hooks, fixing points, and hidden compartments beneath the floor.
Controls will combine physical buttons with tactile rotary dials, blending practicality with intuitive operation. In line with Skoda’s “Simply Clever” philosophy, the interior is designed to prioritize both comfort and versatility.
Powertrain: Familiar Yet Efficient
While Skoda has not disclosed full technical details, the Epiq is likely to share its underpinnings with the Volkswagen ID. Cross, built on the updated MEB+ platform. This setup should feature a front-mounted electric motor delivering 155 kW (211 hp).

The brand has not confirmed battery size, but it has announced a projected driving range of 425 kilometers on a full charge — a competitive figure for its class.
With the Epiq, Skoda aims to make electric mobility more accessible without sacrificing practicality or design. By positioning it as the entry-level EV SUV in its lineup, the Czech automaker strengthens its role in the Volkswagen Group’s broader electrification strategy.

The production-ready version will arrive in 2026, but the showcar already sets clear expectations: a compact, affordable, and cleverly designed electric SUV that’s ready to bring the brand’s Simply Clever ethos into the EV era.
