CATL’s Response to Europe’s EV Challenges
The European EV market continues to grow, albeit at different paces across the continent. According to SNE and MarkLines, EV penetration rose from 23% to 26% in the first half of 2025, with forecasts suggesting it could reach 29% by year-end. The International Energy Agency (IEA) expects EV sales to climb to 4 million units in 2025, up from 3.2 million in 2024.

Still, challenges remain: high costs, battery longevity, range, limited charging infrastructure, and safety concerns. According to CATL, the Shenxing Pro has been engineered to address precisely these issues, offering solutions tailored to Europe’s driving conditions.
Shenxing Pro: A Technological Revolution
Built on CATL’s proprietary NP 3.0 platform, the Shenxing Pro introduces innovations in chemistry, mechanical structure, systems, and electronic control. It will be offered in two main variants:
Shenxing Pro Super Long Life & Long Range
- World’s first LFP battery with 758 km WLTP range.
- Record lifespan: 12 years / 1,000,000 km with just 9% degradation after the first 200,000 km.
- Ideal for Europe’s leasing market and long-distance drivers.

Shenxing Pro Super-Fast Charging
- Up to 478 km WLTP range in just 10 minutes, equivalent to 0.8 km per second.
- Charging power up to 830 kW with 0–100 km/h acceleration in 2.5 seconds, even at 20% SOC.
- Reliable in extreme cold: at –20°C it provides 410 km in 20 minutes.
- Warranty coverage of up to 10 years / 240,000 km.
