Peugeot is set to revolutionize the electric driving experience with the introduction of the new Peugeot E-3008, taking pleasure and electric performance to unprecedented levels. The fully electric vehicle boasts a 100% electric range of up to 700 km and is scheduled to hit the market in February 2024.

The lineup features two trim levels, Allure and GT (with three option packages), and three 100% electric powertrains (210 HP, 230 HP with extended range, and 320 HP Dual Motor with 4-wheel drive). There aren’t prices for Scandinavian market, but we can imagine they will start from 400.000 DKK and 600.000 SEK, and maybe lower prices in Norway.

Stylish Design

The E-3008’s SUV fastback design immediately captures attention with its dynamic and aerodynamic silhouette, balancing elegance, efficiency, and spaciousness. Despite its compact dimensions (length 4.54 m, width 1.89 m, height 1.64 m), the E-3008 stands out as one of the most compact 100% electric SUVs in its segment, providing ample space for passengers and luggage.

The front of the vehicle introduces a new treatment, featuring ultra-thin LED headlights integrated into an elegant strip above the radiator grille. The Pixel LED technology, standard in the GT version, automatically adjusts the headlight beam to traffic conditions, ensuring optimal illumination without disturbing other road users.

Peugeot has modernized the traditional fastback slope in the rear with a “floating” spoiler, offering a dynamic style while maintaining excellent second-row space and sufficient trunk volume (520 liters in front-wheel-drive versions and 470 liters in 4WD versions).

Striking Exterior Features

The E-3008 comes with new 19 or 20-inch technical and geometric design wheels. Innovative dichroic pigments give the Obsession Blue color a fascinating transformation from blue to green, expressing the vehicle’s entry into a new era. Other available colors include Okenite White, Pearl Black, Artense Grey, and Titanium Grey.

The New E-3008 is available in a two-tone version with a glossy black roof on the GT model. On this trim, the lower sections of the front and rear bumpers, wheel arches, and door sill protections are also finished in glossy black.

Cutting-Edge Interior

Inside the E-3008, the attention to detail continues with the spectacular 21-inch Peugeot Panoramic i-Cockpit. The ambient LED lighting, customizable in eight different colors, enhances the cabin’s appeal and technological character. The 21-inch curved HD panoramic screen combines the head-up display and central touchscreen, ensuring optimal visibility for both the driver and passenger.

The compact steering wheel has been redesigned to provide an even greater sense of driving and comfort. The GT version comes standard with a heated compact steering wheel. The spacious and bright interior offers a relaxing experience for passengers, with new front seats providing exceptional comfort.

Performance, Motor, and Autonomy

The E-3008 offers four driving modes to adapt performance: Normal, Eco, Sport, and 4WD. The vehicle’s platform, the STLA Medium “BEV-by-design” from Stellantis, features a record energy content between the wheels, with a maximum capacity of 98 kWh in a compact wheelbase of 2.73 m.

This high-performance design enables the E-3008 to achieve a range of up to 700 km while remaining compact. The three 100% electric powertrain options include 210 HP with a range of 525 km, Dual Motor with 320 HP and a range of 525 km, and Extended Range with 230 HP and a range of 700 km.

The synchronous permanent magnet motor of this new generation provides increased power and efficiency. The 2-wheel drive versions deliver 157 kW (343 Nm torque) or 170 kW (343 Nm). The 2-motor, 4-wheel-drive version provides a total of 240 kW (157 kW front and 83 kW rear).

The 400V high-voltage lithium-ion battery, positioned under the floor, comes in three combinations of capacity, power, and high-voltage battery autonomy. The battery is guaranteed for 8 years (or 160,000 km) at 70% of its charging capacity.

Charging Options

The E-3008 offers versatile charging options, with a rear left fender charging port supporting both AC and DC charging. For AC charging, two on-board chargers are available: a standard 11 kW three-phase charger and an optional 22 kW three-phase charger.

For DC charging, the E-3008’s port accepts power up to 160 kW, enabling a 20% to 80% battery charge in 30 minutes for the standard version and less than 30 minutes for the extended-range version.

Trim Levels: Allure and GT

The Allure trim features a single-color finish with Tep and fabric upholstery, offering key features such as keyless entry and start, high-definition rear parking camera, rear parking sensors, LED headlights, and 19-inch alloy wheels.

The GT trim, available in a two-tone finish with a black roof and Alcantara upholstery, adds premium features to the Allure trim. These include 20-inch alloy wheels, Pixel LED headlights, front parking sensors, motorized rear tailgate, heated front seats and steering wheel, wireless smartphone charger, customizable ambient lighting, and the Peugeot Panoramic i-Cockpit with a 21-inch curved screen and customizable i-Toggles.

In conclusion, the new Peugeot E-3008 is not just an electric vehicle; it’s a statement of style, performance, and advanced technology. With its impressive range, striking design, and innovative features, the E-3008 marks a significant leap forward in the era of electric driving. Scheduled to hit the market in February 2024, it promises to redefine the standards for electric SUVs.
