Bentley has unveiled the 1919 Collection, a new limited edition apparel line signed by Mai Ikuzawa, the brand’s External Creative Director. The capsule will be available exclusively during 2026 at Bentley’s stands at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the Monterey Car Week, with pieces and accessories designed to celebrate the brand’s culture, its motorsport heritage, and the sense of belonging shared by the Bentley community.
A capsule made for true enthusiasts of the brand
The Bentley 1919 Collection was created to speak directly to the brand’s most devoted fans. Its name references the year Bentley Motors was founded, and that becomes the starting point for a capsule built on a few clear principles: quality materials, durable construction, an essential color palette, and strong visual identity.

Creative direction comes from Mai Ikuzawa, whose personal background is deeply tied to racing culture. Her path weaves together motorsport, design, and visual identity. Her father, Tetsu Ikuzawa, raced in Europe and was among the first Japanese drivers to compete at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, while her grandfather came from the art world.
That dual heritage, part pit lane and part creative studio, comes through in how the collection interprets the Bentley universe. Rather than leaning on logos for their own sake, the 1919 Collection builds around a feeling of belonging. It evokes the era of the Bentley Boys and Bentley Girls, when owners, drivers, and enthusiasts alike helped build the brand’s mythology far beyond the racetrack.
The result is an essential wardrobe, designed for people who recognize the thread connecting automotive history to contemporary style.
The Bentley Green chore jacket is the collection’s signature piece
At the heart of the collection sits the chore jacket in Bentley Green. The choice of this particular garment is no accident. The chore coat originated as a workwear jacket, functional and built to last, and here that character has been reinterpreted into a collectible piece without losing its practical roots.

The jacket is made from a durable oxford cotton, designed to develop personality with wear over time. It features external patch pockets, copper buttons, and chain stitch embroidery in Heritage White thread. The Bentley Wings logo appears alongside the phrase “Bentley Motors Since 1919,” while a “Full Send” motif appears on a removable Velcro label, a nod to the rear wheel drive Bentley Supersports driven by stunt driver Travis Pastrana in a video that went viral.
Colors and details that tell Bentley’s story
The collection’s palette is built around three colors: Bentley Green, black, and white. Bentley Green dominates the main piece and evokes the imagery of British motorsport. Heritage White is used in the embroidery to create contrast and readability, while black adds a more urban, contemporary note to the rest of the capsule.
Sweatshirt, polo, t-shirt, and accessories
Alongside the chore jacket, the 1919 Collection includes a selection of garments and accessories designed to form a compact, complete wardrobe. The crewneck sweatshirt is made from a 12 ounce heavyweight reverse weave fabric, a construction prized for its texture, stability, and long term durability.
The line also includes a short sleeve polo and an American inspired t-shirt, two more immediate and versatile pieces that still stay connected to the capsule’s graphic identity. Rounding out the offering are a classic six panel cotton cap, a heavy canvas tote bag, and keychains featuring an embroidered tab.
The pieces will only be available throughout the 2026 season, exclusively at Bentley’s stands at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the Monterey Car Week in California.
