Parian Chronicle Hotel Paros brings Cycladic culture to Greece

Hyatt celebrated the opening of Parian Chronicle Hotel Paros, a 50 room contemporary Cycladic retreat on the Greek island of Paros, managed by Swot Hospitality. The hotel blends the cultural heritage of the island with upscale leisure offerings and private outdoor space, marking the Destination by Hyatt brand’s second property in Greece and its first on a Greek island. This milestone comes as the brand’s footprint grows to 25 hotels and resorts in nearly 10 countries globally, and as Greece’s inbound tourism reaches an all time high, attracting 37.98 million visitors in 2025.

Named after the ancient marble inscription discovered on Paros that recorded moments of Greek history and mythology, the hotel invites guests to experience the island as participants in an unfolding story. Located in the village of Kampos, minutes from the airport and Parikia Port, the property features 50 newly built guestrooms and suites for guests ages 13 and above, with 39 rooms offering private pools and the rest featuring outdoor jacuzzis. Interiors by Makridis Associates draw on Paros marble, landscape and natural light, using clean lines, whitewashed forms and natural materials including stone, wood and linen.

Dining at the hotel’s signature restaurant, NAAO, follows the rhythm of the island, from breakfast with the Peskesi basket to sharing style lunches at The Parian Table, to evening menus built around curing, sun drying and grilling. Wellness is centered on Nipson Spa, inspired by ancient Greek healing traditions, with a fully equipped fitness centre, saunas, a treatment room and a large outdoor pool.

Interiors by twenty2degrees weave Art Deco influences into the building’s industrial aesthetic, with bespoke artwork referencing Eadweard Muybridge’s chronophotography and the venue’s storied musical history, including performances by Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd and The Chemical Brothers.
