Avatr has officially inaugurated its new Smart Digital Factory, a state-of-the-art facility developed in collaboration with Changan Automobile, Huawei, China Unicom, and other key industry players.
As reported by Auto-home, the factory stands out for its advanced technology. It has been described as a fully digitalized and flexible “super factory” powered by 5G networks and artificial intelligence. The site integrates over 40 advanced technologies, including digital twin systems that optimize production processes from design to vehicle delivery.
Avatr has the factory of the future
Every element of the production chain is connected through a unified 5G network, ensuring real-time tracking and full transparency throughout the entire manufacturing process. The company announced it has achieved end-to-end digitalization, with the ability to constantly monitor each tool and component in operation.

One of the most impressive aspects of the new facility is its fully automated production line, capable of assembling one car every 60 seconds. Thanks to the platform’s flexibility, the plant can simultaneously handle the production of different models and support up to 1,280 personalized configurations—including across brands and powertrain types.
To ensure quality, the plant features 369 monitoring systems, 26 checkpoints, and a sophisticated AI-powered visual inspection system operating across 25 different scenarios and 73 workstations.
Avatr and Huawei’s New Flagship SUV
Alongside the factory’s inauguration, Avatr also previewed a new flagship SUV co-developed with Huawei, which is expected to play a key role in the brand’s future lineup. This model could become a benchmark in the high-performance connected vehicle segment.
Avatr’s ambitions are clear: 17 new models by 2030, including sedans, SUVs, MPVs, and sports cars, with the goal of reaching an annual global production of 800,000 units.
Rapid Growth and Global Expansion
The brand’s numbers are already rising rapidly. In 2024, Avatr sold 73,000 vehicles—more than double the 2023 total. In the first half of 2025, it recorded four consecutive months with over 10,000 monthly deliveries, confirming its strong upward trend.
International expansion is also moving at full speed: in 2024, the company entered 25 countries and regions, including Thailand and Dubai, offering models priced between 500,000 and 700,000 yuan (roughly €60,000 to €90,000). In July 2025, Avatr signed distribution agreements with dealerships in Jordan and Egypt, while the Avatr 11 made its debut in Singapore, further solidifying the brand’s global strategy—which also includes plans to enter Europe, although no timeline has been confirmed yet.
