Porsche adds more standard equipment and a new Advanced Package with PASM to the 2027 Macan

Porsche is updating the electric Macan for the 2027 model year, with the focus landing squarely on equipment, comfort and charging capability. The headline addition is a new Advanced Package, available on the Macan, Macan 4 and Macan 4S, which bundles together several of the range’s most requested options into a single package.

Porsche Macan Advanced Package bundles the most requested options

The Advanced Package brings together a panoramic roof, Matrix LED headlights, auto dimming interior and exterior mirrors, and a choice of exterior colour from the Shades or Contrasts palettes on the styling and comfort side. Inside, it adds electrically adjustable 14-way Comfort seats, a black leather package, and a Bose Surround Sound System.

On the mechanical side, the package includes Power Steering Plus and adaptive air suspension with automatic self levelling, ride height adjustment, and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). PASM continuously adjusts damper tuning based on driving conditions and style, while the air suspension adds the ability to vary ride height and the car’s vertical behaviour on top of that.

Adaptive Cruise Control and parking assistance now come standard

Alongside the new package, Porsche is also widening what comes standard on the electric Macan. Adaptive Cruise Control is now included as standard, automatically managing distance from the vehicle ahead by adjusting acceleration and braking within the system’s defined limits.

Automated Parking with 2D Surround View also becomes standard equipment. The system automatically identifies available spaces, whether between obstacles or in front of them, and can take over the manoeuvre itself for both parallel and perpendicular parking. It can also handle exiting a parallel parking space and will automatically activate the indicator during the process. The more advanced Remote Park Assist, which lets drivers control certain manoeuvres via smartphone, remains a paid option.

Wireless smartphone charging in the centre console also gets a boost, rising from 15W to 25W, a roughly 67 percent increase that should cut charging times during drives, depending on what power the individual phone can actually accept and on thermal conditions at the time.

Porsche Macan charging 22kW comes standard on GTS and Turbo

The most significant update on the charging side lands specifically on the Macan GTS and Macan Turbo, both of which now come standard with a 22 kW onboard AC charger. Paired with a wallbox or public AC charger capable of delivering that power, charging times can drop considerably compared with an 11 kW setup.

The Macan, Macan 4 and Macan 4S continue with an 11 kW onboard charger as standard, though the 22 kW unit remains available as an optional upgrade on those versions. The move to a faster AC charger doesn’t affect DC fast charging figures, with every version of the electric Macan still able to accept up to 270 kW at compatible DC stations.
