Up to 448 km range
The EV2 is a so-called B-SUV with a city-friendly, practical design that resembles earlier teasers and last year’s concept model. It measures just 4,060 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, and 1,575 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,565 mm.
This makes it shorter than the Volvo EX30 and closer in size to cars like the Renault 4 E-Tech or Hyundai Inster.

Kia equips the EV2 with two battery variants based on the E-GMP platform:
- Standard range: 42 kWh battery with a WLTP range of 317 km
- Long range: 61 kWh battery with a WLTP range of 448 km
Both versions support fast charging from 10–80% in approximately 30 minutes (average charging speed around 60–85 kW), while AC charging is available via 11 or 22 kW onboard chargers.

The EV2 supports both Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G), and comes with advanced features such as Digital Key 2.0, Remote Smart Parking Assist, Harman/Kardon audio, and a comprehensive ADAS package including Highway Driving Assist 2.
Small car with generous space
The interior, which Kia calls “Picnic Box”, is minimalist yet welcoming, featuring fabric-based materials, ambient lighting, and a wide display split into three sections:
- 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster
- 5-inch climate display
- 12.3-inch infotainment screen
Physical buttons remain for key functions, along with wireless charging (up to 100W via USB-C) and flexible storage solutions.

Luggage capacity ranges from 362 to 403 liters depending on seat configuration (four- or five-seater), and the rear seats can slide and recline to create additional space.
Performance figures such as power output and acceleration have not yet been disclosed, but the car is expected to feature a front-mounted electric motor.
A strong starting price
Danish pricing has not yet been announced and will be revealed in March. However, we expect a starting price of around DKK 200,000, which would make it a very competitive offering in its class.
Production begins in the first quarter of 2026 in Slovakia, with sales expected shortly thereafter.
