Three key areas
At the heart of the collaboration are three key areas: advanced technology integration, ecosystem expansion, and a shared communication strategy. Together, the two brands will develop AI-powered assistants, multi-device connections, and Bluetooth-based digital keys that turn the smartphone into a natural extension of the car. From unlocking and starting the vehicle to managing infotainment and settings, every interaction is designed to feel intuitive and human-centric.
The partnership also marks the continuation of a relationship that began in 2023, when HONOR and BYD launched the first NFC digital car keys for BYD models, compatible with HONOR smartphones. In 2024, the collaboration expanded with the introduction of integrated onboard fast-charging functions, and now, in 2025, the alliance grows even stronger.
BYD’s premium sub-brand DENZA is the first to integrate the HONOR Car Connect system, allowing real-time synchronization between devices and vehicles. The rollout is expected to extend to other BYD Group brands in the near future, forming one of the most connected mobility ecosystems in the industry.
The partnership aligns closely with HONOR’s upcoming AI Connect platform, which will be unveiled at the HONOR Global Developers Conference and AI Device Ecosystem Conference 2025. The platform aims to unify smart devices, cars, and digital services under a single intelligent framework — setting the stage for a new era of human-centered connectivity.
