It marks not only the company’s public debut but also the beginning of a new chapter in how we experience automotive heritage.
A modern tribute to Rolls-Royce history
Halcyon’s Highland Heather takes its name and inspiration from the purple tones of Scotland’s moors, a landscape that once tested the limits of early Rolls-Royce engineering during the legendary 1907 Scottish reliability trials.

By weaving this heritage into the design, Halcyon pays homage to the brand’s pioneering spirit while signalling its own ambition: to take the finest Rolls-Royce models of the 20th century and remake them for the 21st.

The car’s Purple Moorland finish is unlike anything seen before on a Corniche, subtly shifting in tone under natural light. Inside, engravings and bespoke detailing reflect the same Scottish influence. At the heart of the cabin sits the Halcyon Gallery, a sculptural centrepiece inspired by flowing highland rivers—a poetic reminder of the project’s natural inspiration.
The Art of Remastering
Halcyon refers to its approach not as restoration, but as remastering. Inspired by Henry Royce’s mantra, “Take the best that exists and make it better,” the company goes beyond returning classics to their former glory. Each vehicle undergoes a 12-month, ground-up process involving over 2,000 hours of craftsmanship. Starting from bare metal, traditional and modern coachbuilding techniques are fused to recreate hundreds of hand-built components, often finished to standards beyond the original.

But where Halcyon truly distinguishes itself is in seamlessly blending this traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. The Highland Heather is powered by an in-house 800V electric drivetrain producing 500 horsepower. Developed over two years, the system delivers the kind of silent, effortless power that Rolls-Royce has always promised—only now with 21st-century reliability, efficiency and sustainability. Crucially, it adds no unnecessary weight, preserving the Corniche’s elegant proportions and analogue driving feel.

Halcyon’s remastering programme is strictly limited to 60 one-of-one commissions, each realised in close collaboration with its future owner. Clients are invited into an atelier-like process, where Halcyon’s designers shape every detail in dialogue with the individual. For those who wish, world-renowned artists are brought in to add further layers of artistry, ensuring that no two commissions will ever be the same.
“Classic elegance and a modern spark make for everything the Corniche should be, unmistakably Rolls-Royce. The passion, effort, and attention to detail that our team has poured into the Highland Heather design study have created a vehicle unlike any other.”
