Lenovo and Motorola may be front and centre at IFA 2025 with a long list of new products, but Motorola quietly launched a new laptop family in India: the Moto Book 60 Pro.

These are higher‑spec versions of the Moto Book 60, with a clear focus on performance and a premium OLED display.

Performance and configurations

The Moto Book 60 Pro adopts Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors and comes in two hardware platforms: a Core Ultra 5 configuration with 16 GB LPDDR5 RAM and a 1 TB PCIe NVMe SSD, or a Core Ultra 7 option with 32 GB of RAM and the same 1 TB storage. Both models aim at demanding users who need extra multitasking headroom and storage speed.

One of the standout features is the 14‑inch OLED panel (the same high‑quality display seen on the standard Book 60). Specs include a 2.8K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, up to 1,100 nits peak brightness and full DCI‑P3 HDR coverage. Audio is handled by Dolby‑certified stereo speakers, promising an immersive media experience.

The chassis is aluminium, with a refined look and two Pantone‑inspired finishes — Bronze Green and Wedgewood — continuing Motorola’s collaboration with PANTONE. The laptop measures up to 1.69 cm thick and starts at 1.39 kg. Motorola also cites MIL‑STD‑810G certification for increased durability.

Connectivity and productivity features

Connectivity includes Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, multiple USB‑C ports (also used for charging) and at least one USB‑A. For video calls and security there’s a 1080p FHD webcam with infrared support, a physical privacy shutter, Windows Hello facial authentication, and dual microphones. A backlit keyboard is expected, given its presence on non‑Pro models.

The laptop packs a 60 Wh battery and ships with a 65 W charger capable of fast charging. Motorola positions the device as a balanced mix of performance and acceptable battery life for productivity on the move.

Price and availability

The Moto Book 60 Pro is already on sale in India. The Core Ultra 5 model starts at ₹64,990 (around €627 at the current exchange rate) while the Core Ultra 7 variant is listed at ₹80,990 (approx. €782). Those are competitive prices for the hardware on offer, notably the OLED display, but Motorola hasn’t indicated plans for a European launch – unfortunately.
