Zeekr has given its most successful European model a thorough update. The facelifted Zeekr 7X made its European premiere at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, with more range, more power, faster charging and a new driver assistance system. It will arrive in Danish showrooms in January 2027.

The 7X matters a lot to the brand. More than 200,000 have been built worldwide, and in Denmark it is Zeekr’s best-selling model, with 2,245 cars registered on Danish roads. The SUV was co-developed in Gothenburg, Sweden, and Hangzhou, China, and built on Zeekr’s SEA platform.

More range, more power, faster charging

The updated 7X keeps the 800-volt architecture but improves the key numbers. Range rises to up to 627 km, the most powerful version now delivers 680 hp, and maximum DC charging power climbs to 450 kW.

Those are modest but welcome steps forward for a car that was already among the stronger performers in its class. In real-world tests of the launch version, however, charging speeds did not always reach the official peak, so it will be interesting to see how the facelift performs on the road.

New eyes on the road

The biggest technical change is a new Bosch-based driver assistance system, using seven cameras and three radars. It includes adaptive cruise control, a remote-controlled parking assistant and new parking functions.

Design changes are more discreet. The 7X gets new front and rear bumpers, while inside the centre console has been redesigned.

Expect higher prices in Denmark

Zeekr will announce Danish versions and prices around the turn of the year.

The brand is already warning that prices will reflect the higher registration tax on EVs that takes effect in Denmark from 2027, so buyers should expect a higher price level than today.
