Emirates has announced that it will introduce Starlink — the world’s fastest satellite-based Wi-Fi — across its full fleet of Boeing 777s and Airbus A380s, making Emirates the airline with the largest Starlink-enabled network in the world.

The first Starlink-equipped Emirates flight will take off on 23 November, debuting on a Boeing 777. From that date forward, passengers in all cabins will enjoy free, high-speed Wi-Fi, allowing them to stream, work, play, make calls, and stay connected with virtually no delay — delivering an online experience that mirrors what they’re used to on the ground.

The rollout continues into early 2026, when Starlink will also be installed on Emirates’ iconic Airbus A380s. Once complete, every passenger traveling on Emirates’ long-haul network will gain access to lightning-fast connectivity across the airline’s entire widebody fleet.

Developed by SpaceX, Starlink offers a dramatic performance leap compared to traditional inflight internet solutions. Its introduction forms part of Emirates’ extensive modernization program, which includes upgraded cabins on more than 200 aircraft, a refreshed Premium Economy product, enhancements to the ice entertainment system, and now the most advanced inflight Wi-Fi available on the market.

“Thanks to Starlink, our customers traveling from Denmark will soon enjoy the fastest inflight Wi-Fi available — completely free and effortlessly simple to use. We expect the first Starlink-equipped aircraft to operate between Copenhagen and Dubai during spring 2026,” said Morten Balk, Emirates’ Country Manager for Denmark.

Visitors attending the Dubai Airshow can already experience Starlink firsthand on board a displayed Emirates Boeing 777-300ER.
