Lexus cuts Danish prices for the updated RZ

Lexus is turning up the tech for its electric SUV. The refreshed Lexus RZ is officially coming to the Danish market early next year, with a lower-than-expected starting price, a larger battery, extended range and a string of new features — including an aircraft-style steering yoke and, for the first time in a Lexus EV, a virtual manual gearbox.

More range, more efficiency

The updated RZ now houses a 77 kWh battery pack, delivering up to 559 km WLTP of range. Lexus has also improved software and thermal management, adding features such as a battery preheater and infrared cabin heating to improve cold-weather performance.

Pricing starts at 399,500 DKK

The entry-level RZ 350e Executive features front-wheel drive, 224 hp and a generous standard equipment list: 18-inch alloy wheels, a 14-inch touchscreen, navigation, a 360-degree camera system, 22 kW AC charging and the full Lexus Safety System+.

Luxury and performance variants

The RZ 350e Luxury adds 20-inch wheels, a head-up display, a digital rear-view mirror, ventilated seats and a digital key.

The RZ 500e introduces Lexus’ DIRECT4 all-wheel-drive system with a combined output of 380 hp, offering improved traction and performance.

Flagship: 408 hp and a manual-feeling EV

At the top of the range, the RZ 550e F SPORT delivers 408 hp, sharper aerodynamics and a sportier interior — plus an 8-speed virtual manual transmission. Gear changes are executed using paddles on the steering wheel and supported by simulated engine sound, a virtual rev limiter and visual feedback in the instrument cluster. The system aims to provide a more mechanical, engaging driving experience without changing the fundamental nature of an EV.
