BYD Denmark is expanding its private leasing options, responding to growing consumer demand for electric cars and a desire for more flexible and predictable mobility solutions. From now on, private customers can lease three popular BYD models: the Sealion 7, Seal U, and Seal.

Sealion 7 at 3,895 DKK/month
The Sealion 7 is available in two versions. The Comfort trim, with an 82.5 kWh battery and a range of 482 km, can be leased from 3,895 DKK per month with a down payment of 24,995 DKK. It comes well equipped with 19-inch wheels, panoramic glass roof, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, electric tailgate, ADAS Level 2+ driver assistance, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, navigation with route planner, wireless smartphone charging, and a heat pump. The Comfort version can tow up to 750 kg.
For an additional 400 DKK per month, customers can upgrade to the Sealion 7 Excellence. This version features a larger 91.3 kWh battery with up to 502 km of range, all-wheel drive, leather interior, a head-up display, 20-inch wheels, and a towing capacity of up to 1,500 kg. The Excellence trim is available from 4,295 DKK per month with the same down payment of 24,995 DKK.
Seal U from 3,795 DKK/month
The Seal U, a spacious SUV, is offered in the Design trim from 3,795 DKK per month with a down payment of 14,995 DKK. It has an 87 kWh battery, a range of up to 500 km, 218 horsepower, and can tow up to 1,300 kg.
Standard features include 19-inch alloy wheels, a 360-degree camera, a rotating 15.6-inch screen, head-up display, electrically adjustable front seats with heating and cooling, heated steering wheel, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging for two smartphones, a large panoramic glass roof, electric tailgate, leatherette upholstery, a 12.3-inch digital instrument display, LED headlights, ADAS Level 2+, and navigation with route planner.
Seal from 3,995 DKK/month
The SEAL sedan is now available for private leasing in the top Excellence trim, starting from 3,995 DKK per month with a down payment of 19,995 DKK. The SEAL Excellence offers all-wheel drive, 530 horsepower, and a range of up to 520 km. It can tow up to 1,500 kg.
The car also includes LED headlights, panoramic glass roof, 360-degree camera, 15.6-inch central display, 10.25-inch driver display, climate control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, heated steering wheel, adaptive cruise control, leatherette seats with heating and cooling, electric tailgate, heat pump, and an extensive safety package.
The leasing campaign
The leasing prices are valid from 20 January to 28 February 2026, with the latest registration date of 31 March 2026. The offer applies to a limited number of cars and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Leasing is based on a 36-month period with an allowance of 10,000 km per year. Extra mileage can be added at 350 DKK per month for every additional 5,000 km, up to 40,000 km per year.
All models come with a six-year warranty or 150,000 km, whichever comes first. The electric motor is covered for eight years or 150,000 km, and the battery for eight years or up to 250,000 km. Service is scheduled every two years or 30,000 km. Prices include service and maintenance but exclude tires, green ownership tax, mandatory comprehensive insurance, a 950 DKK insurance administration fee, and a 600 DKK delivery fee.
