2026 Hyundai Ioniq 6: a bold new look

Hyundai has given the sleek Ioniq 6 an extensive redesign. The updated model features narrower headlights, sharper lines around the bumper, and a taller hood. The lines across the hood and side profile are now more pronounced, with black accents on the upcoming N-Line variant. Even the rear of the car has been revised, integrating the spoiler seamlessly into the bodywork.

Inside, the cabin has been refreshed with a new three-spoke steering wheel, a redesigned center console with more physical buttons, and additional space for climate controls, enhancing both usability and comfort.

The facelifted Ioniq 6 comes with two battery options, matching the updated Ioniq 5: a 59 kWh battery for the Essential variant and an 80 kWh battery for the Advanced and higher trims.

Thanks to its aerodynamic design, the smaller battery provides a range of 521 km—an increase of 92 km—while the larger battery allows for an impressive 680 km per charge. The range is supported in cold conditions with a standard heat pump. Fast charging is also a highlight: the 800V platform enables a 10–80% charge in just 18 minutes at up to 350 kW.

Standard features are generous, including a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Additional standard equipment includes 18-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, adaptive cruise control, an electrically operated tailgate, heated seats and steering wheel, and wireless smartphone charging.
