The 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E gets further updates, following its 2024 milestone as the first vehicle capable of driving autonomously on certain European highways (like we did).
This new update focuses on new color options, aesthetic improvements, and enhancements to the heating system.
2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E: What’s New
Three new paint colors are being introduced for the Mustang Mach-E: Velocity Blue, Molten Magenta, and Terrain — bold hues that, according to the American automaker, reinforce the vehicle’s sporty and distinctive character. These are complemented by new aesthetic details such as a glossy black front splitter and, for the GT version, a new, more aggressive-looking black front grille.

The alloy wheels also get an upgrade: the base models now come with wheels previously reserved for the Premium trim, while the Premium trim can now be customized with 19-inch black-painted wheels for an even bolder look.

Inside, the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E brings notable changes in ergonomics and space. The gear selector has been moved from the center console to the steering column, freeing up valuable space between the front seats. Additionally, Ford introduces the new multifunctional “Superstalk” control, which combines turn signals and wipers into a single lever — something definitely worth testing to see if it’s convenient or a bit awkward.

The infotainment system has also been updated, with a refreshed SYNC 4A interface, which continues to support over-the-air updates to keep pace with user needs.
One of the most significant new features is the standard inclusion of a heat pump across all models. Located in the front section of the vehicle, the heat pump provides more efficient cabin heating, especially during winter. This results in less battery consumption and potentially greater driving range.
