Zeekr 9X will debut in Europe. Developed at Zeekr’s global design centre in Gothenburg, the new luxury SUV marks a new chapter for the brand’s European ambitions, moving Zeekr firmly into territory previously reserved for established luxury rivals.
The Zeekr 9X arrives in Europe as a six seat luxury SUV in the exclusive Ultra trim, built around comfort, technology and driving dynamics, and it doubles as the launch platform for Zeekr’s new Super Hybrid drivetrain.
Zeekr 9X super hybrid: an electric first driving experience
Zeekr’s Super Hybrid system was engineered to put the electric driving experience front and centre. Under normal driving, the electric motors do the work of moving the car, while the petrol engine acts purely as a generator, topping up the battery as needed during the journey. At higher speeds or under hard acceleration, that same petrol engine can also add direct drive through the front axle, giving the car an extra boost when it counts.
The result is a quiet, immediate feeling more associated with a fully electric car, combined with the flexibility a hybrid system provides on longer trips. The 9X pairs two electric motors, one on each axle, with a petrol engine on the front axle that doubles as both generator and supplementary drive.
Zeekr 9X range and charging speed
The drivetrain runs on a 900 volt architecture, built to support rapid charging and strong energy efficiency. According to Zeekr’s preliminary figures, the battery can be DC fast charged from 10 to 80 percent in as little as 9.5 minutes, while total range reaches up to 737 kilometres.
Inside the Zeekr 9X: comfort meets advanced technology
The cabin brings together premium materials, including nappa leather, real wood and microsuede, with a spacious layout and a high comfort standard across all three rows of seats. Carefully finished details, such as the crystal control unit set into the centre console, reinforce the sense of craftsmanship throughout the interior.
A 47 inch head up display stretches across the entire windscreen, while a 17 inch OLED screen anchors the infotainment system. Second row passengers get their own dedicated screen to control comfort and entertainment functions independently from the front.
Sound comes courtesy of an exclusive audio system from British brand Naim, built around 32 speakers designed to wrap every passenger in an immersive listening experience. An adaptive air suspension with dual air chambers, dual valve continuous damping control and active noise cancellation keeps the ride calm and composed, while the second row Business Class style seat can recline almost fully flat, letting passengers rest comfortably on longer journeys.
Practical luxury built into everyday use
Rear doors that open up to 90 degrees, paired with powered entry steps, make getting in and out straightforward, while a flat, continuous cabin floor allows easy movement between the second and third rows. Boot space runs to 677 litres with all seats in use, expanding to 2,148 litres with the second and third rows folded flat. The Zeekr 9X can also tow up to 2,000 kg.
Driver focused technology throughout
The Zeekr 9X leans heavily on driver assistance technology designed to improve awareness and confidence behind the wheel. A combination of lidar, cameras, radar and ultrasonic sensors feeds the car’s driver assistance systems, giving a clearer picture of the surrounding environment while driving. Adaptive matrix headlights adjust their beam pattern to changing conditions without dazzling oncoming traffic.
As with other Zeekr models, the 9X can be continuously updated over the air, adding new features and improvements throughout the car’s lifetime without a trip to the dealership.

The Zeekr 9X extends the brand’s European lineup to five models and stands as its most exclusive offering yet. Pricing for the Scandinavian markets and the exact timing of the local launch will be announced at a later date.
