OnePlus has officially launched the OnePlus Pad 3, the company’s third-generation premium Android tablet, combining flagship-level hardware, AI-enhanced productivity tools, and a refined design. The tablet is available for pre-order from 5 June 2025, with sales starting on 19 June.
OnePlus Pad 3: Premium design and display upgrades
The OnePlus Pad 3 features a metal unibody design with a thickness under six millimetres, aiming for both durability and portability. The updated design relocates the rear camera to the corner, offering a fresh aesthetic. Eight symmetrical speakers—four woofers and four tweeters—create an immersive audio experience.

At its core, the Pad 3 runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform, one of Qualcomm’s most powerful SoCs to date. It comes with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage in the base model, with an option for 16 GB RAM and 512 GB for users needing additional performance.
Thermal efficiency is ensured via a vapour chamber cooling system made of graphene-composite materials, allowing the tablet to maintain performance during extended gaming or work sessions.
Endurance-focused battery and fast charging
A 12,140 mAh battery powers the device, offering:

The OnePlus Pad 3 debuts with OxygenOS 15, bringing a suite of AI-enhanced tools designed to improve productivity, creativity, and user interaction across applications.
- AI Writer and AI Summarize assist users with real-time text generation, summarisation, and translation tasks, streamlining workflows for content creators and professionals alike.
- Integrated access to Google AI services such as Gemini and Circle to Search expands the tablet’s functionality, offering smarter web search, contextual image recognition, and instant assistance within supported apps.
- The Open Canvas multitasking system has been significantly upgraded since the OnePlus Pad 2. It now features predictive window management, seamless app-pairing, and enhanced drag-and-drop functionality. For example, when switching repeatedly between two apps, the system can suggest an automatic split-screen layout.
- Additional AI utilities include smart clipboard suggestions and context-aware notifications that adapt based on the user’s routine and app usage patterns.
