Concept Three: the new Art of Steel
The unveiling of Concept Three marks Hyundai’s next step in electrification, opening the door to a new segment of compact EVs designed to strategically address the growing European demand for smaller, more sustainable vehicles.

According to Hyundai, Concept Three will also set the tone for the company’s upcoming design language and reinforce its leading role in the global transition to electric mobility.
The design is guided by the philosophy of “Art of Steel”, which transforms the strength and flexibility of steel into a sculptural aesthetic inspired by Hyundai’s advanced metallurgical technologies. Key elements include the Aero Hatch profile, featuring a distinctive sloping roofline and a vertical rear hatch to optimize aerodynamics, as well as signature Hyundai EV lighting at both the front and rear. The look is further enhanced by lemon-tinted windows and matching alloy wheels.

Inside, Hyundai designers have prioritized sustainability, with eco-friendly materials dominating the cabin. Shades of yellow and grey create a fresh and dynamic atmosphere, while customizable digital widgets add a personalized touch to the user experience.
Hyundai’s Electrification roadmap for Europe
The Munich showcase is also an opportunity for Hyundai to highlight its broader European ambitions. The company considers Europe a key market for EV adoption, and by 2027 every Hyundai model offered in the region will include at least one electrified version.

Globally, Hyundai has committed to launching 21 new EVs by 2030, covering a wide range of mobility needs. Beyond battery-powered models, the automaker is continuing to invest in hydrogen fuel cell technology, viewing it as a clean and scalable energy solution for the future.
Sustainability is also shaping Hyundai’s industrial strategy: its European production plants are moving toward 100% renewable energy, while design and manufacturing processes increasingly integrate recycled and sustainable materials.
