With over 650 liters of trunk capacity, recycled and plant-based materials, and a bold evolution of the Modern Solid design language, Vision O signals where Škoda’s celebrated Combi lineup is headed in the electric era.
Exterior Design: Modern Solid, Reinvented
The Vision O’s exterior emphasizes simplicity and aerodynamics. At the front, the new Tech-loop grille stretches across the fascia, framed by illuminated Škoda lettering. Combined with the redesigned proportions, the result is a robust yet balanced presence.

Side details include flush door handles, aero-optimized wheels, and a panoramic roof. The revised C-pillar highlights cabin space, while the rear showcases a distinctive T-shaped light signature and a continuous light strip linking back to the Tech-loop at the front.
Škoda also employed active aerodynamic features such as cooling intakes, air channels, and bonnet vents to reduce drag. The paint finish integrates mica pearl pigments, shifting between warm and cool tones depending on light conditions, complemented by black roof accents and tinted glass.
Inside-Out Cabin: Minimalism Meets Technology
The interior of Vision O was designed first, then the exterior was built around it. The result is a symmetrical, minimal, and intuitive layout. A tactile central selector anchors the cockpit, while a completely new HMI system ensures clear, logical interaction.
The centerpiece is the 1.2-meter-wide Horizon Display, stretching across the dashboard in front of both driver and passenger, paired with a vertical central screen. Users can customize content, while the info-dimming feature reduces distractions by filtering what is displayed.

Bio-adaptive ambient lighting adjusts tones to natural light cycles, enhancing comfort and wellbeing, while the cabin emphasizes calm, focus, and interaction.
Practicality remains at the heart of Vision O. The trunk offers 650 liters of capacity (1,700 liters with the rear seats folded) and a series of Simply Clever touches:
- Portable Bluetooth speaker
- Integrated mini-fridge
- Four onboard umbrellas
- Dedicated charging cable storage
- Magnetic wireless charging pods for smartphones
AI and Connectivity: Laura as a Personal Companion
Vision O brings next-generation AI into the cabin. The virtual assistant Laura evolves from simple voice control into a personal companion that offers contextual information, reminders, mood-based suggestions, and even storytelling for passengers of all ages.
The car also introduces immersive experiences like Tranquil Mode, where the seats slide back, lighting adjusts, and displays simplify to promote relaxation with tailored audio.
Through the Vision O App, users can extend personalization outside the car—adjusting glass tint, remotely configuring the Horizon Display, or even managing AI-assisted loading. The updated MyŠkoda app (v8.5) now integrates route planning powered by Google Gemini AI, suggesting optimal charging, dining, and service stops.
Circular Materials: Designed for the Full Lifecycle
Sustainability was central to Vision O’s development. Škoda applied circular economy principles to design, production, use, and end-of-life. Examples include:
- Seats in 100% recycled PES flatknit, tailored to form for durability and minimal waste.
- 3D-printed Ultrasint TPU headrests, a recyclable single-material honeycomb design combining flexibility, comfort, and strength.
- Ultrasuede NU on console, armrests, dashboard, and steering wheel, with 65% plant-based content and a translucent finish.
- Nabore flooring made from post-production leather waste.
- Rec PES supply chain, transforming PET bottles into new textile fibers to reduce virgin material use.
Lighting plays a central role in Vision O’s identity. Škoda Cyber Lights animate welcome and farewell sequences, while dynamic indicators extend across headlights, fenders, and mirrors. Dedicated lighting signals the car’s autonomous driving mode, with the Tech-loop grille displaying distinct colors and animations to communicate vehicle status to other road users.
