With the launch of the Samsung Odyssey 2026 range, the Korean manufacturer raises the bar once again for high-end gaming monitors. The new lineup, consisting of five models, represents a clear generational leap in terms of resolution, refresh rate and visual immersion.

It targets not only competitive gamers, but also creators who demand uncompromising image quality for advanced gaming and content production. At the center of the announcement is the world’s first glasses-free 6K 3D gaming monitor, flanked by ultra-fast displays designed for extreme eSports scenarios and high-definition panels aimed at users who move seamlessly between gaming and professional workflows.

Samsung Odyssey 3D 6K: a new dimension of gaming

The new 32-inch Odyssey 3D introduces a technology that aims to fundamentally change how gaming is experienced on a monitor. Thanks to an advanced real-time eye-tracking system, the display dynamically adjusts depth and perspective based on the viewer’s position, delivering a natural and continuous three-dimensional effect without the need for headsets or dedicated accessories.

The 6K resolution ensures an exceptionally high level of detail, while the 165Hz refresh rate — expandable up to 330Hz via Dual Mode — maintains fluid motion even during the fastest sequences. A 1 ms GtG response time further supports clarity and precision, making the monitor suitable not only for immersive experiences but also for competitive play.

Samsung has also collaborated with multiple game development studios to optimize titles for 3D support, enhancing depth perception, surface definition and object separation compared to traditional two-dimensional displays.

Samsung Odyssey G6: extreme speed for competitive gaming

Designed specifically for eSports enthusiasts, the 27-inch Odyssey G6 pushes the concept of speed to unprecedented levels. With Dual Mode enabled, the monitor can reach a refresh rate of up to 1,040Hz, while offering native QHD resolution at up to 600Hz. The result is exceptional motion clarity tailored for high-intensity competitive environments.

The ability to instantly adapt performance profiles also makes the G6 versatile for more visually demanding gaming sessions. Support for AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible ensures stable, responsive visuals free from tearing, while maintaining consistent brightness and color accuracy.

Samsung Odyssey G8: resolution and visual fidelity

For 2026, the Odyssey G8 family expands with three variants that aim to strike a refined balance between definition, smoothness and overall image quality. At the top of the range sits a 32-inch 6K model, combining ultra-high resolution with a 165Hz refresh rate, expandable to 330Hz in 3K Dual Mode.

Alongside it, the 27-inch 5K Odyssey G8 focuses on maximum sharpness with refresh rates up to 180Hz, while Dual Mode allows users to switch to 360Hz in QHD when fluidity takes priority.

Completing the lineup is the 32-inch Odyssey OLED G8, featuring a 4K QD-OLED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate, Glare Free technology and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification, delivering deep blacks and cinematic contrast.
