Gran Turismo 7 is expanding its roster with an exciting new addition: the Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo, officially set to arrive in the game this fall. The reveal was presented through a trailer that showcases Opel’s bold reinterpretation of its compact Corsa within Sony’s long-running racing franchise.
A Fusion of Tradition and Innovation
The Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo made its public debut on September 8, 2025 at the IAA Mobility show in Munich. Developed in collaboration with Sony and the Vision Gran Turismo program, the car marries the familiar Corsa nameplate with Opel’s high-performance GSE identity.
Opel describes the fully electric concept as a vehicle that unites the brand’s racing heritage with next-generation technologies. The company positions the Vision GT as “a simultaneous expression of Opel’s history and future,” blending traditional design cues with contemporary electric performance hardware.
What Is Vision Gran Turismo?
Vision Gran Turismo is a long-running project in which automakers design digital-only concept cars made specifically for the Gran Turismo games. The initiative allows manufacturers to experiment with radical forms and performance concepts without the constraints of road legality or production feasibility.
Over the years, the program has produced a range of standout concepts from top global brands. Earlier this year, Gran Turismo 7 added the Chevrolet Corvette CX.R Vision Gran Turismo Concept to its lineup — and now Opel’s Corsa GSE Vision GT joins the series.
Available This Fall
Players can expect to see the Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo join Gran Turismo 7 sometime this autumn. The car promises an intriguing mix of striking design, electric powertrain performance, and a strong connection to Opel’s brand identity.
With its compact silhouette reimagined for virtual competition, the Corsa GSE Vision GT looks poised to be a memorable and competitive addition to Gran Turismo 7’s catalogue.
