The Ferrari Luce has divided opinion since it was revealed, thanks to a design that breaks sharply from Maranello’s usual language and an all electric heart that marks a genuine departure for the brand. Reactions remain split between defenders of the design and those who still cannot warm to a style shaped in part by a team previously known for designing iPhones. Now the car has received its first tuning treatment, courtesy of Vossen Wheels, though for now only as a rendering rather than a real build.
New shoes for the Luce
Wheels are often said to make the car, and Vossen has fitted the Ferrari Luce with four Vossen G2-13T wheels, an ultra lightweight forged design and one of the Swiss company’s newest releases, styled similarly to the aerodynamic wheels already available through Ferrari’s own configurator. Exact sizing has not been confirmed, though a 22 inch diameter looks likely.
The lowered stance is hard to miss, with barely enough clearance between arches and tyres for little more than a sheet of paper.
A rear wing to match
Rounding out the render is a distinctly unsubtle rear wing, added to give the Ferrari Luce a sharper edge and, at least in theory, some extra downforce.
As noted, this remains a rendering rather than an actual modified car, not least because a stance this low would make the Ferrari Luce impractical for real world use. Still, for anyone planning to buy Ferrari’s first electric model, a set of Vossen G2-13T wheels can reportedly be ordered for around 8,000 euros.
