Clever has named the addresses and expected dates for four fast charging stations that are due to join its network before the end of 2026. These are not small stops with a few chargers in the corner of a car park. Together they add 84 fast charging outlets for Danish EV drivers, if the schedule holds.

Three new stations and one takeover

The three newly built stations will offer 70 fast charging outlets in total. On top of that, Clever takes over 14 fast charging outlets from E.ON in Horsens, which brings the total to 84.

The Galten station at Erhvervsparken Klank 15 will have 24 outlets and is expected to open in November 2026. The Ølholm and Tørring station at Erhvervsparken 19 also gets 24 outlets, with the same expected opening in November 2026.

In Korsør, the station at Servicevej 1 will offer 22 outlets and is planned for December 2026. Clever has also planned a Clever Café at the site, which is due to open at a later date. That makes it possible to combine a charge with a coffee or a bite to eat before crossing the Great Belt or continuing toward the rest of Zealand.

Horsens Vest is the one to watch on the E45

For drivers who regularly use the E45, the Horsens station at Provstlund Allé 2 is the most interesting addition. It sits at exit 56 (Horsens Vest), where traffic from north and south meets drivers heading west across Jutland.

The station already exists under the E.ON name. Clever takes it over on 1 December 2026 and will run it with 22 Clever charge points, 14 of them fast charging outlets.

Part of a wider deal with E.ON

The Horsens takeover is part of a larger agreement between Clever and E.ON that was announced in August. Under the deal, Clever also takes over six other Danish locations with a combined 48 fast charging outlets, which have so far been operated jointly by the two companies.

Mathias Langkilde Sukstorf, who is responsible for network strategy at Clever, said when the deal was announced that the ambition is unchanged from the Powered by E.ON Drive and Clever cooperation: making life easy for EV drivers.

What more outlets mean for drivers

More outlets on the same site mainly mean more alternatives when the battery runs low. They also improve the odds of avoiding a queue during busy travel periods, such as summer holidays and long weekends.

One caveat applies. Clever has not yet confirmed exact opening dates for the three newly built stations, so November and December should be treated as provisional. Only the Horsens takeover has a specific date.

Where Clever builds next

Clever already operates 27 fast charging stations of its own across Denmark, and more are in the pipeline. Its list of upcoming sites includes Haderslev/Bramdrup and Vordingborg, both with an expected opening in 2027.

Drivers who feel that a station is missing in their part of the country can suggest a location through the Clever website, as the company invites EV drivers to propose sites for future stations.
