Lynk & Co has pulled the wraps off its first-ever GT concept car, “Time to Shine,” at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show. The two-door Gran Turismo marks a significant milestone for the brand as it celebrates its tenth anniversary, encapsulating a decade of design evolution, motorsport heritage, and performance ambition.
A Statement of Intent
More than just a show car, “Time to Shine” is both a tribute to what Lynk & Co has built and a bold declaration of where it’s heading. Developed to express the brand’s authentic, performance-driven character, the concept signals the opening of a new chapter — one rooted in confidence, emotion, and a genuine passion for driving.
Sculpted by Light
The GT concept carries the classic proportions you’d expect from the genre: 4,780 mm long, 2,000 mm wide, and just 1,330 mm tall, with a 2,750 mm wheelbase that gives it a purposefully low, planted stance.

The exterior design is defined by what Lynk & Co describes as being “sculpted by light” — a halo-like reflection runs along the body flanks, while surfaces shift and transform depending on the viewer’s angle and movement. Finished in Apex Blue, a liquid-metal effect paint of exceptional depth, the concept’s sharp contours and aerodynamic lines are accentuated by Spark Yellow accents, a nod to the brand’s racing DNA.
An Interior Where Warmth Meets Performance
Inside, the concept strikes a balance between comfort and sport. The cabin is configured as an open, generous 2+2 layout — welcoming and refined, yet clearly focused on the driver. Digital Shimmer white leather creates a bright, elegant atmosphere, while technical details reinforce the car’s sporting intent.

Hand-inlaid Textreme 360 carbon fibre sits behind the seats, shimmering like starlight and blending cutting-edge materials with artisanal craftsmanship.
The “+” Button: A Performance Ritual
One of the concept’s most distinctive features is a physical “+” button, finished in Spark Yellow, mounted on the centre console. An evolution of Lynk & Co’s signature performance symbol, pressing it transforms the car entirely:
- The suspension drops 15 mm
- Aerodynamic elements deploy front and rear, extending the car’s effective length by 100 mm
- The rear spoiler deploys automatically
- The instrument cluster and three digital screens retract, stripping away non-essential information
These elements work as an integrated system to optimise airflow, increase downforce, and enhance high-speed stability — leaving the driver free to focus entirely on the road ahead.
A Decade of Racing DNA
The concept draws on a motorsport legacy built over ten years, during which Lynk & Co has grown to a global community of over 1.76 million users and claimed nine titles across seven seasons in top-level touring car competition. Under the skin, the GT concept features rear-wheel drive, a track-inspired chassis, and an advanced vehicle motion control system supported by an AI-based digital chassis. Performance figures point to a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 2 seconds, with sustained, high-output power delivery.

The project was led by Lynk & Co’s Swedish design team, developed jointly between Europe and China — a collaboration that reflects both the brand’s global identity and its Scandinavian design roots. True to its community-oriented ethos, Lynk & Co says it will use public and community feedback to inform future decisions on powertrain options and potential production.
