Google is expanding the Pixel family with four new phones: the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold, alongside the new Pixel Watch 5. Between the standard model, the Pro versions and the foldable, Google is once again spreading a genuinely wide lineup across the top of the Android market. What ties the whole range together is a new processor and a considerably more visible role for Gemini.
Gemini Nano Rambler aims to cut down app switching
A new tool called Rambler lets Gemini Nano gather information, structure tasks, and summarise or transcribe conversations, notes and memos across more than 40 apps.
The idea is to let the phone take over some of the administrative busywork that normally means jumping between several different apps just to keep track of things. As with other Gemini features, Google is still recommending that users double check the results before treating them as the basis for any real decision.
Pixel 11 Pro camera zoom reaches 120x
The Pro models get a new Super Actua display, reaching up to 3,600 nits of brightness alongside improved scratch resistance. The camera system has been upgraded too, with a redesigned telephoto lens and up to 120x professional zoom.
A new feature called HiLight uses an LED built into the camera bar to show discreet colour or pulse signals for things like incoming calls or Gemini interactions, giving a quick visual cue without needing to check the screen directly.

Why Google is pushing more AI onto the device itself
Building AI directly into the phone isn’t new territory for Google, but Pixel 11 pushes the idea further into the center of the experience. Gemini Nano is Google’s model built specifically for on device tasks, and the company points to local processing as a way to deliver faster responses while keeping certain sensitive data on the phone itself rather than sending it off to the cloud. The exact set of features available is still expected to vary somewhat by country and language.
