Ford is giving its fully electric Puma a sharper look with the launch of a new Black Edition, a special version of the compact SUV built around an exclusive paint finish, a black roof, matte black 18 inch wheels and darker detailing throughout the cabin.
The blue and black detailing sets it apart from Puma’s other trim levels, while the car keeps the traits that already define the electric Puma: the largest boot in its class, low energy consumption and up to 405 kilometres of range.
A black roof and matte wheels lead the visual changes
Available in a range of colours including the exclusive Azure Blue, the new Black Edition pairs a black roof with black side mirror housings for a more contrasted, two tone look. The special edition also gets its own 18 inch matte black aluminium wheels, distinct from the wheel designs offered elsewhere in the Puma range.

The darker theme carries through to the interior as well, with a black headliner, unique door sill trims and blue contrast stitching running across the seats, doors and dashboard.
Matrix LED headlights come as standard
Every Black Edition comes fitted with dynamic Matrix LED headlights as standard, adapting their beam pattern to the road and traffic conditions ahead. Among their features is glare free high beam, which automatically shields oncoming and preceding traffic from being dazzled while still keeping the road ahead well lit.
Pricing and where it sits in the range
The new Black Edition is now open for order in Norway, with campaign pricing starting at 305,900 NOK against a recommended retail price of 381,900 NOK. At the more accessible end of the range, the entry level electric Puma, badged Select, is currently available from 279,900 NOK as a campaign price.
More range and lower energy use across the lineup
Earlier this year, the electric Puma’s usable battery capacity grew from 43.6 kWh to 46.8 kWh, improving range across the board. The Select trim now offers up to 417 kilometres of range, while the Premium version reaches up to 404 kilometres. Energy consumption starts from 13.1 kWh per 100 km, among the lowest figures in its class.
Hands off driving with BlueCruise
The electric Puma can also be specified with BlueCruise, a system that steers, accelerates and brakes the car on approved motorway stretches, letting the driver take their hands off the wheel while still keeping their eyes on the road.

An infrared camera mounted on the steering column continuously checks that the driver remains attentive. BlueCruise is offered either as a one time payment or through a monthly or annual subscription.
A 523 litre boot with its own front storage compartment
Storage remains one of the electric Puma’s strongest selling points, with a total boot volume of 523 litres, including the 145 litre GigaBox built into the floor of the boot. The drainable compartment is designed for muddy shoes, wet outdoor gear or items that need to stand upright during transport. A further 43 litre storage space sits under the bonnet at the front of the car.
