Zenvo returned to the public stage at the Goodwood Festival of Speed with two examples of its new Aurora hypercar, a model first announced back in 2023. The Danish manufacturer brought along two Validation Prototypes representing the Tur and Agil variants, both now shown in a form that is very close to the final production specification. Just 100 units will ever be built, split evenly between the two versions.
A quad turbo V12 built with Mahle
At the heart of the Aurora sits an entirely new 6.6 litre V12 engine fitted with four turbochargers, developed in partnership with Mahle. On its own, this unit produces 1,250 hp and can spin all the way to 9,800 rpm, a remarkable figure for a turbocharged engine of this size.
Zenvo has paired the combustion engine with hybrid technology that differs depending on the variant. The lighter Agil uses a single 200 hp electric motor integrated into its seven speed automatic gearbox. The Tur goes further, adding two electric motors on the front axle to deliver full all wheel drive. Combined, the Tur’s powertrain reaches an extraordinary 1,850 hp total output.
Numbers that put it among the fastest cars ever built
Performance figures match the ambition of the powertrain. The Tur accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.3 seconds, and its top speed climbs to a staggering 416 km/h, placing the Aurora firmly in the same conversation as the world’s most extreme hypercars.
Design, aerodynamics and a very small production run
Beyond the powertrain, Zenvo has focused heavily on aggressive styling and advanced aerodynamic development, alongside a fully updated onboard technology suite. Production of the Aurora is set to begin in the coming months, with the total run capped at 100 cars, 50 Tur and 50 Agil, making it one of the most exclusive hypercars to reach the road in recent memory.
