At the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, the Voyah Free+ made its official debut. While its overall design remains familiar, this is far from a simple facelift—it’s a true generational leap for the Chinese brand’s flagship SUV.
With over 100,000 customers already won over by the original model, Voyah is now aiming even higher, presenting a vehicle that has been completely revamped in terms of technology and comfort. The Free+ is set to launch in the coming months, though official pricing has yet to be announced. It is also expected to reach European markets by the end of the year.
Voyah Free+ and the “City Lights”
The Voyah Free+ adopts the “City Light and Shadow Aesthetics” design philosophy, blending everyday practicality with individual style. The exterior now boasts a cleaner, more unified appearance, thanks to a single-tone body color and new dynamic 21-inch wheels. Increased ground clearance adds to the SUV’s commanding and luxurious road presence.

The dimensions have grown slightly: 4.9 meters long, 1.96 meters wide, and 1.66 meters high, with a generous 2.96-meter wheelbase. Compared to the previous model, the Free+ is 10 mm longer and wider, and 15 mm taller, enhancing the interior space for passengers.

The core of the Voyah Free+ evolution lies in technology. This SUV will be among the first vehicles in the world to integrate Huawei’s ADS 4 system, paired with the HarmonyOS 5 digital cockpit. This advanced setup includes features like Navigation on Autopilot (NOA) for highways, automatic lane changes, and obstacle avoidance, all supported by multiple sensors and LiDAR radar for a safer and smoother semi-autonomous driving experience.

The mechanical side has also been refined with the introduction of the EDC “Magic Carpet” suspension system, which adapts in real time to road conditions. Five customizable driving modes offer a balance between dynamic performance and ride comfort.
Inside, the Free+ impresses with premium features such as a built-in refrigerator, custom ergonomic pressure-relief seats, and a rear entertainment screen. The entire cabin is enhanced by an immersive surround sound system, turning every trip into a multisensory experience.

Under the hood, Voyah stays true to its proven range-extender setup: a 1.5T gasoline engine paired with two electric motors, delivering a combined 483 hp and 720 Nm of torque. Performance is sporty, with 0–100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds. The battery has been upgraded to a safer and more durable LFP (lithium iron phosphate) pack, offering up to 210 km of pure electric range under the CLTC cycle.
