What’s new in Tesla Model Y Standard

The Tesla Model Y Standard  comes equipped with many standard features, including mobile app access, real-time Supercharger route planning and a broad selection of in-car entertainment options. Signature features such as Phone Key, Remote Climate Control, Sentry Mode and Dog Mode are included.

Software updates are delivered over the air, improving the car over time and adding features without extra cost. The Model Y Standard ships with Basic Autopilot and hardware provisioned for Full Self-Driving (Supervised), which will be activated in vehicles where local regulations approve the feature set.

Design changes give the Model Y Standard its own identity within the Model Y family. Every change was made to improve efficiency and the driving experience. The cabin seats five with new soft, hard-wearing textile upholstery designed for everyday use and all-weather conditions. A spacious center storage console — inspired by earlier Model S and Cybertruck designs — keeps essentials within reach.

Storage capacity is generous: up to 835 liters with all five seats in place, and 2,118 liters with the rear seats folded. That space accommodates bikes, camping equipment or large items. A tow hitch rated up to 1,600 kg is included as standard.

534 km range

Reducing total cost of ownership has been central to Model Y Standard’s development. This variant is the most energy-efficient Model Y to date, rated at just 13.1 kWh/100 km with a WLTP range of 534 km. That efficiency lets owners travel further at lower energy cost.

Electric vehicles demand less routine maintenance than combustion cars — there are no oil changes or mandatory annual service. The new 18″ Aperture wheels help aerodynamic efficiency and can lower long-term tyre costs.
