Drivers on Sydsjælland should plan for slower journeys through Haslev over the coming months. From Tuesday 4 August until the end of October, the Danish Road Directorate (Vejdirektoratet) will be repairing the motorway bridge that carries Sydmotorvejen over Køgevej, with work concentrated on concrete repairs to the bridge’s support walls and underside.
Køgevej traffic reduced to one lane during the day
Because the repair work is being carried out from Køgevej itself, only one lane under the bridge will be passable during daytime hours for the full duration of the project. Between 9am and 3pm throughout the entire period, traffic signals will control the work zone, alternating traffic through that single open lane. Drivers should factor in somewhat longer travel times through the area for as long as the work continues.
Night closures planned for around a week
At some point during the project, Køgevej under the bridge will need to close entirely overnight, between 10pm and 6am, for a stretch of roughly one week. Vejdirektoratet will put up signage warning of the night closure a full week before it begins, so drivers who rely on that stretch of road will have advance notice. During the closure, a signposted detour will route traffic via Haslev and Olstrup.

Vejdirektoratet has acknowledged the disruption the work is likely to cause and encourages drivers to plan ahead where possible.
