As of 16 July 2026, OnePlus officially stops launching new products in Europe and North America. The company has confirmed that existing users will not be left behind. Customer support will remain available through the same familiar channels, and software updates, maintenance, and essential security patches will continue as planned.
This means every eligible OnePlus device will still receive the system updates it was promised. Older models that fall outside future update plans will simply be maintained on their current software version rather than being abandoned. All existing warranty commitments will also continue to be honored.
The OnePlus philosophy lives on through Oppo
According to the companies, the product philosophy, technology, and user experience that OnePlus has built over the years will not disappear. Instead, it will continue to evolve through Oppo’s product lineup. Thanks to a close and long running partnership between the two brands, spanning hardware platforms, software systems, core research and development, and supply chains, Oppo says it can offer OnePlus users a smooth and familiar product experience going forward.
OnePlus users are described as a high priority for Oppo, and the company says it will work to ensure the transition feels safe and seamless rather than disruptive.
Oppo also points to its own momentum in the region as a reason for confidence. The company’s European business remains stable and is seeing strong growth, particularly in the premium segment. Oppo says it remains firmly committed to the Nordic market and will keep investing there through new products, local teams, partnerships, and services.
Special offers for OnePlus users
As part of the transition, Oppo is rolling out special offers for existing OnePlus users in selected markets, including the Nordics. Starting next week, Oppo will launch a campaign on the official OnePlus and Oppo websites in Denmark aimed at OnePlus users who want to switch.
The campaign includes the following offers:
Membership transfer bonus: existing OnePlus users can follow the instructions on the OnePlus website to transfer their membership to Oppo and receive an 80W Supervooc power adapter as a welcome gift.
Discount on Find series devices: OnePlus users who purchase one of the eligible products in the Oppo Find series will receive a discount of 1,500 DKK.
Newsletter signup discount: customers who sign up for email updates through Oppo’s website, including those transferring their membership from OnePlus, will receive a 30 percent discount coupon for selected IoT products.
The move signals a broader shift in how Oppo intends to manage the OnePlus brand going forward, folding its community and product identity into Oppo’s own growing presence in the Nordic region rather than running it as a fully separate line.
