On April 26, Chery will globally unveil the Omoda 3, the first model of the brand’s new “Energy Mecha” era—marking a fresh chapter for the youngest marque in the group.

For Omoda, Energy Mecha is not just a new design language; it also introduces cutting-edge technological features and an AI-driven onboard experience.

At the launch event, we’ll learn more about a design that, for now, has only been partially revealed. Omoda teases sharp geometric surfaces, muscular proportions, and a bold aesthetic inspired by the mecha universe. The newly designed headlights, named “Mecha Lightning,” project cybernetic beams of light, while the color palette—rooted in quantum fluctuations—helps establish an entirely new visual identity.

But there’s more: Omoda & Jaecoo will also introduce a brand-new technical architecture at the launch, specifically designed to integrate with LLMs (Large Language Models), the most advanced artificial intelligence language models. This makes the Omoda 3 the brand’s first model equipped with the ability to continuously evolve.

This new architecture marks an evolutionary leap toward true vehicular intelligence—enabling the car to learn, adapt, and interact more naturally with the driver and its surroundings.

Like the Omoda 5, the vehicle is expected to debut as a fully electric model, while also offering electrified and internal combustion options, including the Super Hybrid system already featured on the Jaecoo 7 SHS.
