Anticipated in the last months (read article here), we’ve taken an early look at the new and exciting new Suzuki eVitara – the brand’s very first electric vehicle, developed in collaboration with Toyota. The model shares its platform with the upcoming Toyota Urban Cruiser (read more here), and offers a compact yet practical SUV experience with a fully electric drivetrain.

The Suzuki eVitara will be available with two different battery sizes:
- A 49 kWh battery offering up to 345 km of range
- A larger 69 kWh battery delivering up to 428 km of range

In addition, the eVitara comes in three trim levels: Club, Active, and Adventure, with the latter serving as the top-tier version featuring the most comprehensive equipment. Pricing has yet to be announced, but since the sibling model from Toyota starts at DKK 234,990, the eVitara is expected to fall within the same price range.

The eVitara positions itself in the fast-growing segment of compact electric crossovers, where it will compete with models such as the BYD Atto 2, Škoda Elroq, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Ford Puma Gen-E (our preview here), and Opel Mokka Electric. A standout feature of the eVitara is the optional AllGrip all-wheel drive, which remains a rare offering in this class.
