The Maserati MCPURA represents the pinnacle of the brand’s philosophy—a direct heir to the MC20 and a true embodiment of the Trident spirit. Unveiled at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed in a striking Ai Aqua Rainbow livery, this supercar blends elegance and extreme performance, housing the legendary 630 hp Nettuno V6 inside a carbon-fiber body proudly crafted in Modena.

Maserati MCPURA: Designed for Power

At first glance, the MCPURA’s aggressive “shark nose” front end and aerodynamic bumpers, derived from the GT2 Stradale, speak volumes about its performance intent. Every detail is meticulously shaped to enhance airflow without compromising the car’s sculpted purity. The matte finish of the coupé contrasts beautifully with the glossy surfaces of the “Cielo” convertible, giving both versions a modern, muscular presence highlighted by satin surfaces and sharp lines.

Swing open the signature butterfly doors, and you’re greeted by an Alcantara-clad cockpit that extends from the steering wheel to the dashboard and laser-etched sports seats. These seats feature a dual-tone Trident motif, offering both visual drama and tactile refinement. The new flat-top and flat-bottom steering wheel, wrapped in Alcantara with carbon-fiber paddles, draws inspiration from Maserati’s GT2 racing heritage, delivering precise control and a true sports car feel.

Weighing in at under 1,500 kg, the MCPURA boasts a remarkable power-to-weight ratio of 2.33 kg/hp, thanks to its carbon-fiber monocoque developed in partnership with Dallara and TTA Adler. Aerodynamics have been fine-tuned in the wind tunnel, featuring a fully enclosed underbody and innovative vortex generators that ensure downforce and cooling efficiency—without the need for oversized appendages.

Under the rear deck lies the heart of the beast: a 3.0-liter twin-turbo Nettuno V6 delivering 630 hp at 7,500 rpm and 720 Nm of torque from just 3,000 rpm. Borrowing Formula 1 technology, the pre-chamber combustion system with twin spark plugs not only maximizes power but also improves efficiency and lowers emissions—resulting in pure, elegant mechanical performance.

Cielo Convertible: A Dream Roof

The MCPURA Cielo introduces an electrochromic PDLC glass roof that can switch from opaque to transparent in just one second and can retract while on the move at speeds up to 50 km/h. It offers the perfect balance between open-air exhilaration and the comfort of an insulated cabin—all without compromising the car’s flowing silhouette.

The Sonus Faber 12-speaker audio system ensures audiophile-grade sound, complementing the sensory thrill of driving this exceptional machine.
