On Wednesday, July 2, Aarhus will host Denmark’s EU Presidency Celebration. A big event, which also means significant disruptions to public transport will take place in Aarhus.

From Wednesday, July 2 at 10:00 PM until Thursday, July 3 at 11:59 PM, parts of the city center will be closed off, affecting buses, flex traffic, and the light rail (Letbanen), Midttrafik announced in a press release.

Plan Ahead: Check Your Route before moving in Aarhus

Whether you’re a daily commuter or planning a trip to central Aarhus during the celebration days, it’s highly recommended to check how public transport is running. Midttrafik has created a dedicated information page to help passengers get a quick overview of route changes before, during, and after the EU Presidency event.

Travelers can also use Rejseplanen (Journey Planner) to find alternative routes and stops or contact Midttrafik Customer Service at +45 70 210 230 for assistance.
