LG Sound Suite is conceived as a fully modular audio ecosystem that works seamlessly with LG’s premium televisions. Users can mix and match components such as the M7 and M5 surround speakers and the W7 subwoofer, either alongside the H7 soundbar or in alternative configurations.
This modular approach enables up to 27 different system layouts, ranging from minimalist setups to full-scale home theater installations reaching up to 13.1.7 channels. When the H7 soundbar is used as the central hub, any TV connected via HDMI gains compatibility with Dolby Atmos FlexConnect, significantly expanding system versatility across different displays and room sizes.
Dolby Atmos FlexConnect: cinematic sound without constraints
LG Sound Suite is the world’s first soundbar-based system to support Dolby Atmos FlexConnect. The technology is designed to automatically adapt audio output to the physical placement of speakers in the room, ensuring a coherent and immersive soundstage regardless of layout.
As streaming services increasingly offer Dolby Atmos content, FlexConnect responds to a growing demand for cinematic audio without complicated installations or fixed speaker positioning. Ease of use is a key pillar of LG Sound Suite. Wireless connectivity via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi allows quick pairing of all components, while the system automatically calibrates itself to the surrounding environment.
A standout feature is Sound Follow, which uses ultra-wideband (UWB) technology to adjust the optimal listening position based on where the user is located in the room. Combined with Room Calibration Pro, which analyzes room acoustics and applies AI-driven sound processing, the system delivers consistent, balanced audio throughout the space rather than a single fixed sweet spot.
AI-driven performance and premium sound processing
Powering the H7 soundbar is LG’s α11 Gen 3 processor with artificial intelligence, the same platform used in the company’s high-end OLED televisions. Leveraging deep learning and a dedicated Neural Processing Unit, the system performs real-time audio optimization with high precision.
AI Sound Pro+ can upscale stereo sources into a convincing multi-channel surround experience, while advanced object separation improves clarity between dialogue, music and sound effects. Audio profiles are dynamically adjusted depending on content type, enhancing immersion across films, sports broadcasts and music playback.
