A limited number of factory-new Kia Niro EV (model year 2026) vehicles will soon be available in Denmark at significantly reduced prices, according to an announcement released in Fredericia on 18 February 2026. The offer, described as temporary, applies only to a restricted batch and will end once the vehicles are sold.
The initiative comes from Kia Danmark, which says the pricing represents the lowest level ever offered for the model in the Danish market.
Established Electric Model With Long Range
The Kia Niro EV has been one of the more established electric vehicles in Denmark in recent years, combining practical design, relatively long driving range, and a high level of standard equipment. The 2026 model is equipped with a 64 kWh battery and a WLTP-rated range of up to 460 kilometers, positioning it for both daily commuting and longer trips.

According to Rasmus Aagaard, CEO of Kia Danmark, the model played an important role in the early phase of the brand’s electric transition and has maintained steady popularity among Danish buyers. He noted that access to a limited number of new vehicles has enabled the importer to temporarily reposition the model at a lower price point. Once the batch is sold, the offer will end and the model will no longer be available under these conditions.
Significant Price Reductions Across Versions
The vehicles are scheduled for delivery in May and June and will be offered in several equipment variants. Prices have been reduced substantially compared with the most recent official list:
- Niro EV Access: DKK 219,999 (previously DKK 279,999)
- Niro EV Prestige: DKK 239,999 (previously DKK 304,999)
- Niro EV Upgrade: DKK 249,999 (previously DKK 339,999)
- Niro EV Upgrade with comfort packages, infotainment package, and glass roof: DKK 269,999 (previously DKK 389,995)
Depending on version, the price difference reaches up to DKK 120,000, making this one of the most aggressive pricing adjustments seen for a Kia electric vehicle in Denmark so far.
