Hyundai has announced the launch of two N Hyper Charger stations at the Nürburgring circuit in Germany, reinforcing its commitment to high-performance electrification. The new charging infrastructure makes ultra-fast charging available at one of the world’s most iconic automotive circuits, delivering premium charging capabilities alongside premium driving experiences.
Strategic location, maximum convenience
Located strategically at the entrance to the Tourist Drive, the N Hyper Charger stations mark Hyundai’s first ultra-fast charging installation at the Nürburgring complex. By bringing rapid charging directly to the circuit, Hyundai enables drivers to recharge their vehicles and return to the track in just minutes—preserving the intensity and continuity of the driving experience while ushering in the era of electric performance.

The new charging stations are engineered for speed and efficiency:
- Simultaneous Charging;
- Two units with four charging points enable up to four vehicles to charge at once;
- Ultra-Fast Capability
With a maximum DC power output of 400 kW, the Ioniq 5 N and Ioniq 6 N can charge from 10% to 80% state of charge (SoC) in approximately 18 minutes under optimal conditions.

The N Hyper Chargers are accessible to electric vehicles from any brand, not exclusively Hyundai models Pilot operations commenced on March 14, 2026, offering drivers immediate access ahead of the new track season. Following an optimization phase, complimentary charging for Ioniq 5 N and Ion iq 6 N owners will be available from April via the Charge myHyundai app across Europe.
A “Global performance infrastructure”
This initiative represents another step in Hyundai’s roadmap to construct a comprehensive ecosystem for high-performance driving in the electric vehicle era. Following the installation of its first rapid charging station for high-performance EVs at Inje Speedium in South Korea in 2023, Hyundai is now expanding its global high-performance charging infrastructure to the legendary Nürburgring—the circuit that inspired the creation of the N performance brand itself.
