Debuting at Laguna Seca Raceway, the new Mustang GTD Liquid Carbon is the most extreme and technologically advanced version of the GTD lineup, designed to fully showcase the use of racing-inspired carbon fiber.

The perfect setting to demonstrate how motorsport materials and solutions can transform a muscle car into a true track weapon. First deliveries are scheduled for October.

Ford Mustang GTD Liquid Carbon: just like on the track

Carbon fiber is the material of choice in top-level racing series, such as IMSA, where the Mustang GT3 — the inspiration behind the GTD project — competes. The Liquid Carbon skips the paint booth and replaces some of the door’s sheet metal with bonded carbon fiber panels, saving about 13 pounds compared to a Mustang GTD Carbon Series with the Performance Package.

The result is an aggressive, aerodynamically efficient, and functional look, without sacrificing any on-track performance.

As with the Carbon Series, the carbon weave on the hood, roof, rear deck, and rear wing aligns perfectly along the vehicle’s centerline. Fender and side panel patterns also match the car’s dorsal elements, creating a seamless carbon-fiber bodywork design.

Exclusive details include black Brembo brake calipers paired with an anodized body finish and gloss-black GTD lettering. The Performance Package comes standard, just like on the Spirit of America edition.

The cabin features a combination of black leather and Dinamica microfiber suede with Hyper Lime stitching across the seats, door panels, center console, dashboard, and steering wheel. A reflective center gradient on the seats adds a bright accent to the purposeful, driver-focused environment.
