Jutland has officially taken the electric-car spotlight from the capital. More than 27,000 visitors poured into the MCH Messecenter in Herning over the weekend for the debut of the new Danish EV Fair (Elbilmessen) — a turnout that left the now-defunct Copenhagen-based eCarExpo far behind.
With 27,845 attendees, the first Herning edition outperformed eCarExpo’s all-time record of 24,216 visitors, proving that moving the country’s biggest EV event west of the Great Belt was a smart move.
