Dodge is reviving one of the most iconic names in its history. The Charger Super Bee brings back a badge cherished by enthusiasts for decades, reinterpreting it for the modern era with a recipe built around serious power, updated technology, and a distinctly track focused attitude.

Due to arrive in the U.S. over the coming months, with a European debut still unconfirmed, the range kicks off with a limited run Launch Edition, powered by a 3.0 litre twin turbo inline six pushed to 600 hp.

Hurricane 3.0 twin turbo reaches its most powerful form yet

The Super Bee is built around an evolution of the 3.0 litre Hurricane engine, tuned in this configuration to produce 600 hp and 720 Nm of peak torque. Compared with the standard Charger Sixpack, that’s a gain of 50 hp, achieved through a pair of 56 mm Garrett Motion turbochargers capable of increasing airflow into the engine by 7.5 percent.

Power delivery has also been reworked from the ground up. Peak torque now arrives as early as 3,000 rpm and holds steady all the way through to 5,900 rpm, giving a strong, consistent shove across the rev range. Dodge also revised the intake system for better airflow and fitted reinforced half shafts to cope with the extra performance, alongside new exhaust and turbo calibration for a more engaging sound.

The numbers back it all up. The new Super Bee sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds and covers the quarter mile in 11.8 seconds, making it quicker than the celebrated Charger SRT Hellcat.

Cooling and aerodynamics built for track use

Power is only part of the story here. Dodge describes this as the most track focused Super Bee it has ever built, and the technical changes back that claim up. The cooling system has been substantially upgraded, with the main high temperature radiator gaining more than 50 percent additional capacity, while the low temperature cooling circuit has more than doubled in size.

The front end is entirely new too. Redesigned headlights and larger air intakes boost airflow by 30 percent and generate more than 45 kg of downforce at 241 km/h. Rounding out the aero package is a larger front splitter, a new high performance rear spoiler, and additional radiators tucked into the bumper corners, all aimed at keeping performance consistent under sustained hard use.

The Charger Super Bee rides on forged 20×11 inch wheels wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3 tyres sized 305/35 ZR20. Braking comes courtesy of Brembo, with 16 inch vented discs at both axles, six piston front calipers and four piston units at the rear.

Suspension duties fall to new dual valve Continuous Damping Control adaptive dampers, with numerous chassis components stiffened for sharper handling precision. The front bushings are up to 50 percent stiffer, the rear anti roll bar grows by 20 percent, and spring rates increase by 12 percent up front and 6 percent at the rear.

New driving modes and Launch Edition styling

Electronics play a major role in the new Super Bee’s arsenal. Two new driving modes debut alongside it: Track and Drag, built respectively for circuit driving and straight line acceleration. Drag Mode optimises weight transfer by adjusting damper behaviour, while Track Mode adjusts steering, gearbox, stability control and traction management for maximum effectiveness through corners.

The Torque Reserve system also returns, improving launches with Launch Control by keeping the turbochargers pressurised right up until takeoff. A new Race Prep function rounds things out, keeping the cooling fan running even after the engine shuts off to bring the powertrain’s temperature down quickly.

The Launch Edition gets its own dedicated look too. New colour options include SuckerPunch, a bold yellow green shade that leans straight into muscle car tradition, alongside a new Shady paint finish, while buyers after something more understated can opt for Diamond Black with SuckerPunch contrast details. The visual package is rounded out with a new Super Bee logo, dedicated graphics, sport seats with specific branding, a leather steering wheel, and an identification plaque on the instrument cluster.

Dodge has yet to announce pricing, ordering details or availability for the 2027 Charger Super Bee, with more information expected over the coming months.
