“No Driver, No Cupra” — design with purpose
The Tindaya is guided by Cupra’s motto: No Driver, No Cupra. That principle is visible in every detail — from the dynamic light signature and sculpted flanks to the double spoiler and pronounced diffuser. The car puts driving experience at the core, blending emotion, creativity and performance into a coherent whole.

The face of the Tindaya is centred on an illuminated logo and a black mask that animates like a breath. Three central triangles rise and channel energy toward the hood lights, while progressive triangular elements define the new light signature. Aerodynamic keels frame the nose and guide airflow to the side intakes, with raised hood lines accentuating the visual centre.
Sculpted proportions: fastback with an elevated stance
In profile, Tindaya reads as a fastback with audacious proportions: 4.72 metres long, riding on 23‑inch wheels and featuring a striking 1/3-to-2/3 cabin/body ratio. Its “pushing forward” posture, pronounced wheel arches and pronounced sills create an athletic silhouette. A razor‑sharp blade runs along the flank, carving air channels behind the front wheels and tightening the rear shoulder.

The rear blends shooting‑brake cues with fastback dynamics. A twin spoiler extends from the cabin, framing a digital coast‑to‑coast light bar and floating triangular light elements. Aerodynamic keels repeat at the rear, joined by a bold diffuser. A Y‑shaped spine visually connects hood and roof, while two removable roof panels offer an open‑air dimension.
Driver‑first cockpit and 2+2 layout
Inside, the Tindaya organises everything around the driver. A sculpted Driver Axis frames a free‑floating 24‑inch display; the elevated central spine places tactile controls within reach. The yoke‑style steering wheel (inspired by racing and gaming) integrates satellite buttons for direct control. The 2+2 layout features opposing doors and next‑generation CUP Buckets — an ergonomic, lounge‑like approach inspired by the Eames aesthetic.

At the heart of the experience sits The Jewel, a glass prism that wakes the car, selects modes and reshapes ambience with light, sound and response. The Jewel acts as the project’s symbolic and sensory core. A projection band at the windshield base extends information, while an audio system developed with Sennheiser mobility sculpts a clear, immersive soundstage.
Materials and finishes: earth, light and technique
Material choices link nature and tech. The matte paint shifts from Atlantic‑inspired dark grey at the front to a warm beige at the rear, evoking rock and earth. Copper‑tinged crystalline elements, 3D‑printed aluminium structural parts and Bcomp flax fiber bring lightweight, sustainable performance. Inside, bio‑attributed leather, bronze waxed microfibre and copper‑infused glass create a warm, tactile environment, while parametric patterns under the surface reference leaf‑vein structures.
Three tailored digital experiences
Digital systems orbit the driver axis with three curated modes:
- Immersive Experience — stripped‑back graphics and minimal info for pure driving focus.
- Pilot Experience — performance‑centric displays showing G‑forces, speed and dynamic feedback.
- Tribe Experience — AI suggestions, connected widgets and 3D ADAS visualisations with community content via Cupra Radar.
